The Oberon Day took place on June 29, 2007 in the VisDome of ETH Zurich.
Welcome to the Oberon Day 2007 - Where Academia meets Industry
June 29, 2007 at the VisDome of ETH Zurich
The Oberon Day welcomes delegates from industry and academia who are interested in developing highest quality software in terms of reliability, safety and efficiency.
Participants will get an insight into highly advanced custom systems that have emerged from the long-term collaboration of experts from science and industry. The Oberon Day is, in particular, a platform where Oberon users and developers can share their experiences.
A series of talks discuss custom-made applications based on Oberon and its successors, provide a glance behind the scenes, demonstrate the power of simplicity and exemplify the benefits of custom-made software. Live demonstrations will be presented. Technical engineers and everybody else interested in a unique symbiosis of programming language, compiler and runtime system will particularly benefit from attending this event.
